BSc (Hons) Animal Conservation Science

With growing rates of extinction of animal species, the demand for professionals skilled at managing and conserving wildlife populations has never been higher. We provide a thorough grounding in the core disciplines of animal conservation science, covering everything from identification, ecology, animal behaviour, conservation genetics, to wildlife management and behavioural ecology.

Our own research and strong network of professional contacts keeps us well informed about the changing nature of conservation, and, with an optional one-year placement, you will get the chance to put your knowledge into practice. This course is also available with an integrated foundation year and also with a sandwich placement.
