Grasses, Sedges & Rushes ID

It is easy to notice the wildflowers in a meadow but we often miss the variety of grasses, sedges and rushes living there.  This course is ideal for those who want to start learning more about these often ignored plants and to discover the differences between these species that are common to most local green spaces.

Taking place at the Bay Pond Educational Nature Reserve, there will be a mixture of classroom discussion and practical assessment of plants and grasses throughout the reserve.  Therefore, we advise sturdy walking shoes to be worn on the day.
