Improving Teenage Wellbeing through Nature
If you are a teacher, parent, carer or leader involved with teenagers you will know that it is vital to help them to manage stressful situations. Whether it is exams, social media, friendship groups or hormones causing this pressure, getting them to engage with nature can drastically reduce their anxiety levels. Through a mixture of classroom discussions and outdoor practical tasks, this afternoon session will teach you how to use the tools nature has given us to help improve a young person’s mental health and wellbeing.
While you will be joining us in the beautiful setting of Nower Wood, we will ensure that the techniques learned can be applied to any outdoor area. Invest 4 hours in this course and you will gain a lifetime of practical mental health techniques using nature as your guide.
