Low Impact Bat Class Licence Training

This training is open only to consultants who have successfully applied to Natural England to be accepted on to the current phase of the Low Impact Bat Class Licence. The two days of training will cover the content specified by Natural England for consultants to successfully apply, use and retain a Low Impact Bat Class Licence.

This two day training course will cover the mandatory content specified by Natural England in order to equip consultants with the knowledge required to successfully apply, use and retain a Low Impact Bat Class Licence.

There will be a short post-course assessment for all delegates to complete.

PLEASE NOTE: If booking travel and accommodation in advance please be aware that this workshop requires a minimum of 13 trainees to run. All delegates will receive notification by 1 August to confirm whether the training will proceed.

Who Should Attend?

  • Understand the situations in which the bat low impact class licence can be used
  • Understand the importance of using up-to-date survey data
  • Understanding the process for registering a site and completing the site registration form
  • Understanding the three legal tests and the evidence needed to meet them
  • Understanding the next steps to becoming registered, and what you need to do to remain registered
