An in-depth week of identification of microfungi, with a focus on the special species prevalent at this time of year. The course includes mountain trips to find alpine species of myxomycetes and gives participants a chance to explore the different fungi groups in some depth.

Bruce Ing has been studying fungi for fifty years and is a world authority on the slime moulds. He has published on several groups of plant pathogens and is well known in the field of international fungal conservation.
