Photography – Insects & Flowers

The June sunshine brings out the colourful beauty of the grasslands and meadows.  Take this opportunity to photograph nature at its best.  We will be focusing specifically on the best techniques to capture the delicate flowers in bloom as well as the multitude of insects flourishing at Bay Pond.

Adrian Davies, www.adriandaviesimaging.com, will guide you throughout the day. With his knowledge and experience you will discover new ways of taking photographs.

Any camera with the ability to change the shutter and aperture settings will be suitable for this course, however a DSLR with interchangeable lenses or Bridge camera will have more potential, particularly for close-up photography. Do bring any lenses that you have with you so that we can discuss their suitability for various subjects.

If you have one, bring along a tripod, as light levels can be quite low, particularly in woodland. Make sure you have a fully charged battery and plenty of space on your memory card
