Astronomy Evening – First Quarter Moon

The night sky is a magical collection of twinkling lights. But have you ever wanted to know more about what was up there? If so, join us in Godstone where the Edenbridge & District Astronomers Club will have a number of their high powered telescopes available to use. They will guide us in viewing stars and planets that are impossible to see with the naked eye.

This date was chosen as it is the perfect time to view the first quarter moon. Jupiter and Saturn will also be visible with the club’s guidance. Therefore, we will be starting at 7:30pm just as dusk begins.

Coffee and tea  will be available throughout the evening.

As this event is weather dependent, we ask that you book a place (spaces are limited) and pay on the night.

Unfortunately we cannot cater for children but we welcome anyone 16 years of age and over.
