Carbon Landscape Trainee Placement
The Lancashire Wildlife Trust, along with other organisations, have come together to create the Carbon Landscape Partnership Scheme. This five-year plan has been developed to provide a step by step change in the restoration of the land and the appreciation and use of it by local people and visitors.
We are offering trainee placements on the Carbon Landscape project for local people who wish to have a career in environmental conservation. Each placement will have the opportunity to have hands on experience learning conservation management and general project management skills whilst earning minimum wage.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with an energetic, ‘can do’ attitude, a passion for learning new skills, who are committed and have an understanding of this important landscape for both people and wildlife.
In return, we offer a friendly and flexible working environment, great opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a positive difference for people and communities across the Carbon Landscape area.
