Salary Range: Ecologist’s: £23,000 – £27,000 pa
Senior Ecologist’s: £30,000 – £37,000 pa
The salary or payment awarded to the successful candidate will take into account skills and experience.
Contract Type : This is a two year fixed term contract. Full or part time hours considered.
Location : Kent
We have an agile working policy where staff can work from home, office or other agreed remote location. The location of employment will be the individual’s nearest Kent hub.
Kent Wildlife Trust Consultancy Services Ltd is part of the Kent Wildlife Trust Group of services. The primary purpose of the Consultancy is to support the Trust mission and generate income for the Trust. The Consultancy has been set up to influence land management, development, industry and infrastructure in Kent, ensure net gain is a reality through nature-based solutions and is underpinned by a Nature Recovery Network for Kent. We are at the forefront of solutions to the nature and climate crisis.
Your role will be pivotal in supporting KWT Consultancy Services and the KWT Group with consultancy and conservation work and you will have the opportunity to support Trust work, develop consultancy work, get involved with local, regional and national Nature-based Solutions work and have a great working relationship with colleagues across the Wildlife Trust Consultancy community.
We are looking for all levels of knowledge and experience. It is important that you have a desire and enthusiasm for high integrity ecology work that encompasses a love of conservation and real interest in areas such as Nature-based solutions and the wider emerging discussion on nature’s recovery, wilding and Natural climate solutions.
