Evidence Officer
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (the Trust) is looking for a part-time 0.6 FTE Evidence Officer.
Your primary role will be to provide robust evidence of the impact of the Trust’s conservation work by ensuring the correct collection, management and analysis of habitat and associated data.
You will provide scientific support to the conservation and science teams to ensure that habitat monitoring and other data is collected and analysed appropriately to monitor the impact of our habitat management interventions. The roleis crucial in providing evidence of impact of achieving the Trust’s strategic aims. You will also help to collate and present internal and external evidence relevant to the Trust’s conservation decision making.
You will be experienced in ecological data collection, cleansing and statistical analysis using R and the production of appropriate graphical representations. You will be able to explain complex data and processes to a variety of audiences and to train and support non-specialist colleagues to efficiently provide, access and interpret datausing a newly implemented data flow platform. You will be a team player with attention to detail and able to prioritise competing work demands to meet deadlines.

This is a part-time post for 21 hours per week. Some overtime work may be required and a flexitime system is in place. This post will be employed on a permanent basis at the Trust’s office in Stirling or home-based or hybrid.
