Executive support officer to CEO

Salary £22,000 pro rata

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust (BBCT) is looking for a part-time Executive Support Officer to the CEO to proactively manage the CEO’s busy diary and operate as the key liaison between the CEO her Trustees, corporate partners and the fundraising and public engagement departments.

Your primary roles will be to: –

Provide full administrative and secretarial support at a senior level to the CEO and her Senior management team to ensure the smooth management of her day to day affairs including the governance aspects of the Trust.

In line with BBCT’s current strategic plan the CEO is looking to increase her time working with corporates at a senior level to build on sustainable income to the Trust. We use our passion and creativity to deliver high quality evidence-based work designed to maximise our beneficial impact for bumblebees.

Increased liaison with the fundraising and public engagement teams to ensure exceptional information exchange and reporting procedures of activities will be an essential requirement of this role.

You will be superbly organised, efficient and able to prioritise and re-prioritise under pressure. Your relationship building, communication and organisational and prioritisation skills will be second to none. Alongside this you will be an experienced minute taker, work with the CEO with corporates and engage with our social media, fundraising and marketing teams confidently.

This is a part-time, 28 hours, fixed term until September 2022 position based at home with flexibility to work from BBCT’s offices in Eastleigh.
