Greenspace Community Champion

Lancashire Wildlife Trust is the largest nature conservation body in the area. Alongside working to facilitate nature’s recovery across the nature reserves we care for, we know that if nature is to be restored at scale, we need many more people and communities on nature’s side.

We are looking for a talented greenspace community champion to support community powered change and facilitate local people to empower themselves to act for nature. This role will enable you to make a real difference to nature’s recovery and to be part of our vision to protect 30% of land and sea by 3030.

We are looking for someone who is highly personable, passionate and organised; who is willing to take responsibility and show courage and integrity.  If you feel this is the role for you then we look forward to hearing from you.

This post is funded through The Greater Manchester Green Spaces Fund and is being delivered by a collaborative partnership of Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Sow the City, Royal Horticultural Society, City of Trees and Groundwork Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside; led by Groundwork Greater Manchester.
