Kingfisher Trail Project Officer
We believe that the Kingfisher Trail is one of the most important corridors for nature and people in Greater Manchester. Do you have the drive, ability and confidence to help us galvanise more local people to take action for this fantastic landscape?
Lancashire Wildlife Trust, in partnership with Bolton Council, are looking for a highly motivated individual with exceptional people skills, strong practical conservation skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences to join our team and work on this important urban wildlife corridor.
As Kingfisher Trail Project Officer you will recruit and support new volunteers to make a difference for nature on this landscape – alongside a range of existing community groups. You will also have the opportunity to pilot new engagement activities to connect families with key sites along the Kingfisher Trail; ensuring that the landscape is benefiting as wide a range of residents and communities as possible.
This post is funded through The Green Recovery Challenge Fund, which is in turn funded by Defra and is being delivered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Natural England and the Environment Agency
