Learning Manager (Parental Leave Cover – 4 Months Contract)

About us

The Royal Parks is responsible for managing and conserving over 5,000 acres of historic parkland across London, stretching from Greenwich Park in the east, through Hyde Park and St James’s Park in the centre, to Bushy Park in the west. Our eight Royal Parks include one World Heritage Site, two Sites of Special Scientific Interest and important habitats for London’s wildlife; and are among the most visited attractions in the UK.

In 2017 The Royal Parks charity was founded, as we took over the role of managing the parks from The Royal Parks Agency – a former executive agency of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. At the same time we joined forces with the Royal Parks Foundation, bringing together the best of fundraising, education and park management under one organisation. The Royal Parks charity was launched by HRH The Prince of Wales and our new Chairman Loyd Grossman in July 2017.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced environmental education manager to provide short term cover for our Learning Manager while he takes paternity leave (the position is for 4 months, ideally starting on Monday 6 August to Friday 7 December 2018). About you
