We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated person to co-ordinate safety, health and environment (SHE) work across the Trust, keeping policy and practice up to date.

The post holder will support and develop our positive culture of good practice, providing advice, support and training to staff and volunteers across our nature reserves and wide range of projects.

The advisor will work closely with an established SHE Committee which has enthusiastic representation from all of the Trust’s departments and the advisor will be supported by this team to achieve our joint goals.  Experience and knowledge of working in the nature conservation sector will be an advantage and training and mentoring will be provided to fill gaps in knowledge and experience.

This is a challenging role, which needs committed energy, initiative and drive.  A determined yet friendly, professional and resourceful approach will be required and the ability to deal with a wide range of people and situations.
