Seasonal Visitor Centre Assistant – Montrose Basin

Part-time post: working 1 day (7 hours) per week from 1st March – 31st October 2018.

With the Visitor Centre Assistant Manager the post holder will provide a first class customer care service at our flagship Visitor Centre in Angus.

The successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day running of the reception, shop and exhibition area playing an important role in maximising sales and membership recruitment. You will help run events and supervise the volunteer programme in the absence of the Visitor Centre Assistant Manager.

Experience in working in the retail/tourist/service industry, financial record keeping, working with volunteers and membership recruitment is desirable.

Excellent communication skills are essential, and an enthusiasm for wildlife and knowledge of the Angus area would be advantageous.

A current UK driving licence is desirable.
