Senior Communications & Engagement Project Officer
Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust wish to recruit a Senior Communications and Engagement Project Officer for the Sheffield Lakeland Partnership project.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic person with environmental / countryside project delivery experience who is capable of managing their time, their own projects and engaging others through a range of media.
Working 0.6 FTE (equates to three days, or 22.5 hours, per week on average), fixed term to October 2022.
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
To lead a range of community engagement projects, including a small grants scheme, and to work with partners to co-ordinate the landscape message of the partnership through the delivery of these projects.
To lead and act as a central point for the internal and external communications of our work through the media and social media, working with the partners and the heritage Fund.
Support the Sheffield Lakeland Partnership Manager and other staff in the overall communications and engagement of the partnership and their projects.
The role will involve planning and delivering a range of activities to include a range of participants, designing and commissioning information in various media. While project descriptions and budgets are in place the successful applicant can expect to manage both in a dynamic and proactive manner.
