SLLP Assistant Ranger

Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust are recruiting for a new post for the Sheffield Lakeland Partnership.

The project is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and is a full time post funded for 12 months.

This career development post offers a unique and exciting opportunity to undertake work based experience building to develop a practical career in environmental conservation.

Assistant Rangers will gain work based experience, this is not just about training courses and certificates it is about real experience in the workplace recorded on the Wildlife Trusts Competence system and the building of a suitable CV.

Each Assistant Ranger will work with the Wildlife Trust for one year as a member of junior staff undertaking a range of duties throughout the SLLP projects including practical skills.
