Trainee Campaigns and Communication Assistant-Kickstart scheme

We firmly believe in the potential of young people to play a significant role in our national Covid recovery whilst recognising the challenge that the current climate brings for youth employment. The Charityworks Kickstart Scheme provides a real job and talent development programme to power up the early careers of young talent on Universal Credit.

Each role includes a supported 6-month development programme delivered by Charityworks. The programme will equip you with the connections, experiences, tools and insight needed to succeed at work, help you to build a peer community of fellows and give you the skills to transition well beyond the placement, and develop long term careers in the non-profit sector.

Working alongside our Communications and Campaigns Manager, this role will get the opportunity to input into all forms of communications and assist with campaign work.

You must have an interest in the environment and have a real passion for social media, writing, and photography. The essential skills we are looking for are someone who has good communications skills, self-motivated, ability to inspire people, ability to use your own initiative as well as working alongside a team, ability to stick to deadlines and be adaptable to changing situations.
