Biologist Intern

The National Marine Aquarium was the first aquarium in the United Kingdom solely set up for the purpose of education, conservation and research. Our mission is to inspire all our visitors to enjoy, learn and care about the oceans and we need your help to do that!

We currently have three positions available for our next internship which starts Monday 26th November 2018 and runs until Friday 22nd February 2019. As a husbandry intern you will be involved in the running of the aquarium’s displays and back of house facilities and their maintenance. Your main aim will be to provide support and assistance for the biologists and their day to day duties. Internship programs are full time positions (37.5 hours per week) that run for 3 months and will also include rota’d weekend work. These positions are unpaid.
