Cafe & Shop Support

At WWT we shape unforgettable experiences. We are a warm, welcoming and genuine charity that protects and restores Wetlands. WWT Welney is surrounded by 1,000 acres of the northernmost part of the Ouse Washes – Britain’s largest area of seasonally-flooded land and the setting for one of the most magical events in the UK’s nature calendar – mass winter gatherings of many thousands of wild ducks, geese and swans.

We are looking for volunteers who can support our team in our Café and shop to ensure we offer excellent customer service to our visitors.

This position will require work during occasional weekends and public holidays to ensure the objectives of the centre are met. The exact hours you are able to contribute will be discussed prior to placement.

Travel to and from the centre is at the volunteers arrangement and we regret that we are not in a position to reimburse expenses incurred for travel to the site.

This position is entirely voluntary and is therefore unpaid. Any offer of a volunteer placement is not intended to create a legally binding contract between us and any agreement may be cancelled at any time at the discretion of either party. Neither of us intends any employment relationship to be created either now or at any time in the future
