Car Park Attendant Volunteer

Bempton Cliffs is one of the busiest RSPB reserves in the summer. We aim to deliver first class customer care at all times, as well as giving an outstanding home to nature. We want you to help control traffic and directing new arrivals to available spaces in the car parks, which makes a huge difference for the visitor experience.

The skills you need
Approachable, with a friendly demeanour
Be confident in dealing with tricky situations
A desire to help people and exceed expectations through excellent customer care
First Aid certificate
Knowledge of and familiarity with Bempton Cliffs
Enjoy being part of a team
Experience of directing traffic
Confidence to initiate conversations with and talk to members of the public
Enthusiasm for wildlife and conservation
Willingness to undertake appropriate training and personal development
Please note that this role is not for the faint-hearted. You need to be fit, able to stand for long periods of time in all weathers. Applicants must be over 18 years old and able to work without a chaperone.
