Face Painter / Events Volunteer

Job Summary

What we’re looking for

Could you get creative in the name of saving nature? We are looking for friendly volunteers to help us raise vital funds for conservation and enthuse the public about nature by face painting and running fundraising activities at a variety of events. Within this fun filled role you will be working as part of The Public Affairs and Fundraising Team helping us to convey RSPB Scotland’s message to a wide audience, particularly families and children.

Qualifications and Skills

You will be creative, possibly with some experience in face painting and events. Most important of all, you will enjoy engaging with young people, children and families.

Face painting and Safeguarding training is available for beginners and for those wanting to learn a few new tricks! We also have various templates and guides that are easy to follow.

2018 is going to a big year for Wildlife in Glasgow! RSPB Scotland and Glasgow City Council are teaming up with partners, organisations and community gardens rights across the city to celebrate the fifth year of Glasgow Wildfest and the 30th Anniversary of the Glasgow Garden Festival.

Other events we are taking part in are the Royal Highland Show, The Big Picnic and events at The Helix, Falkirk.

You will receive free entry into any event at which you are volunteering so that you can enjoy the other activities whilst helping RSPB Scotland.
