Handa Island roles

We are glad to offer 3 exciting and varied opportunities to live and work on this wonderful remote island.  Work with our Handa Ranger staff undertaking a wide range of different tasks including practical work, landing and meeting visitors, undertaking seabird monitoring including working with the skua population.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of communal living ideally in a remote setting
  • Someone who ‘wears well’ with others.
  • The role requires a good level of health and fitness and a sense of humour
  • Some fieldwork experience useful
  • Self motivated & willingness to be flexible
