Handa Weekly Volunteers

Handa Island is a wonderful place to spend a week. Come and help us manage the island by undertaking visitor related tasks such as meeting visitors off the ferry boat, giving them a health & safety talk and liaising with the ferryman to ensure all visitors are off the island at the end of the day. When not working with visitors, there are opportunities to undertake other maintenance or bothy related tasks. We are looking for 2 volunteers each week for the duration of the season (March 26 to September 8th).

Must be happy sharing living quarters with others in a remote setting. The role requires physical strength to steady the boat as visitors embark/disembark. Getting to Handa on time is now almost impossible without a car but we will try our best to match drivers with non drivers.
