Inspiring People Volunteer

Do you love putting a smile on people’s faces and spending time out in nature?

Yorkshire’s wildlife is amazing and we want to tell everyone! We need passionate, inspiring volunteers to share the wonders of nature with people who come to our events at Potteric Carr nature reserve or one of our education group sessions.
To help us reach even more people we are looking for people who can inspire others and help us to deliver events throughout the year as an Inspiring People Volunteer.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be assisting staff with the smooth delivery of our events for families and education groups and helping to ensure people have a fun and memorable time with us. You could be amazing young children with the minuscule world of minibeasts at a Forest Tots sessions; to searching for under water treasures such has dragonfly nymphs at a pond dipping event. There’s always plenty to get stuck into, with all kinds of events where you can be creative, share your passion for wildlife and have a great time while volunteering.
