Location: Box Hill & Headley Heath Countryside Properties. Based at Warren Farm Barns, Headley Lane, Mickleham, Nr Dorking. Surrey RH5 6DG

Report to:  Learning and Events Officer

 Anticipated Working Hours: up to 30 hours per week. Mon – Fri

 Anticipated Length of Contract: 8 months

Role Summary:

To engage the hearts and minds of both children and adults through the experience of learning in the countryside, enhance visitor enjoyment and inspire a desire to protect the countryside for the future.

You will be keen to learn about designing stimulating and interactive workshops to promote a love of learning about nature and conservation.  You will be assisting in building processes to promote the smooth running of the department and learning about sales and marketing.

The main thrust of the job will be to help co-ordinate volunteers to deliver the courses and indeed deliver them yourself which will require good presentation skills and a degree of self confidence when imparting information or inspiring others from small children to the elderly and everything in between.  Shrinking violets need not apply!
