Optics Retail Assistant
We’re developing the range of optics we sell in the shop and there are opportunities to help customer select the right binoculars and telescopes, providing product knowledge and opportunities to test out products on site (this is an optional additional role and specialist training will be provided).
By assisting in the shop, you will be helping with the smooth running of the retail department within the visitor centre. You will be providing a warm, friendly welcome to all visitors alongside assisting with visual merchandising, stock takes and helping to keep the shop floor clean and tidy to best present all products and ranges.
You would enjoy this role if you are someone with excellent communication skills and love working in a customer service role. Although some previous knowledge of optics would be useful, it’s not essential as training will be provided.
Ideally, we are looking for someone to help out at least half a day a week, for a minimum commitment of three months.
