Parent and Toddler Group Organisers

We need enthusiastic & friendly volunteers to help organise a parent toddler group which run weekly at the reserve. Activities with the children will be run by a member of staff but we need help in setting up & putting away toys. You will gain experience in environmental youth work with the very young.

Skills Required:

  • Just a can-do attitude and be prepared to get involved.
  • Some experience of working with young children & chatting to parents is useful. However, not necessary as all appropriate training will be provided.
  • A well organised approach will help everyone but most important is to be welcoming, friendly & approachable.

Time Commitment: A morning or afternoon per week.

Volunteers play a major role in the work of the RSPB & we regard volunteers as a very important part of the success of our reserves.
