Practical Conservation Volunteer

Volunteer with our Midweek Group and get involved in conservation tasks all over Greater Manchester. You can learn practical skills such as path and steps construction, tree felling, pond creation, tree planting and traditional skills such as hedge laying and dry stone walling.

The Midweek Volunteer Group meets every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and you can meet us on site or at one of the pick ups below.
Tuesdays- 9.30am – outside the Town Hall, Knowsley Street, Bury, Lancashire BL9 0SW.
Wednesdays and Thursdays – 9.30am – Major St, opposite the coach station, Manchester M1 3ED

Skills / Qualifications:

No skills, qualifications or previous experience is necessary as full training is given. All tools and equipment are provided by TCV but please wear suitable clothes and come in boots if you have them.
