Volunteer Face-painter for Wild Day Out

Could you get creative in the name of saving nature?

We are looking for friendly and creative volunteers to help us raise vital funds for wildlife conservation and enthuse the public about nature by face painting and running fundraising activities at RSPB’s third annual Wild Day Out event at Holyrood Park. Within this role you will be working as part of our Funding and Communication Team helping us to convey RSPB Scotland’s message to a wide audience, particularly families and children.

Qualifications and Skills

Looking for creative people, possibly with some experience of face-painting and events. Most important of all, you will enjoy interacting and engaging with young people and families.

Why should you get involved?

Volunteering with the RSPB will provide you with a great opportunity to be part of a friendly and passionate team within Europe’s largest conservation charity and the chance to work alongside like-minded people to help save nature! Face painting training will be available for beginners or those wanting to refresh their skills or learn new tricks! Various templates and guides will also be provided. Admission to the events we will be attending will be provided and travel reimbursed.

Additional Notes

The minimum time required from you will include online safeguarding training and helping at the Wild Day Out event on 13th April 2019. However, we are taking part in other events throughout the year, including the Edinburgh International Science Festival and The Royal Highland Show so there will be further opportunities to volunteer.
