Woodland Working Group Leader – Oakfield and Bashfordsland Wood

We are looking for a Woodland Working Group Leader at Oakfield Glen and Bashfordsland Wood to lead and guide a group of volunteers on practical tasks within the Woodland Trust’s site in line with the site management plan and as agreed with the Volunteer Manager.

Explore this enchanting little woodland glen and you’ll come across fascinating birdlife, sculptures of mythical creatures peering from the trees, and reminders of its past as the gardens of a Victorian country house. Surfaced paths provide easy access for all abilities, and it’s just 15 minutes walk from Carrickfergus town.

Outdoor working experience, a sensible regard for health and safety, record keeping and previous experience co-ordinating other people/volunteers are desirable.
