Woodland Working Group Member – Stoke Wood, Bicester, Oxfordshire

Would you like to join a friendly Woodland Working Group at Stoke Wood?  We are looking for local volunteers (within 30 miles) to assist with practical conservation tasks at this attractive woodland.

Located just outside Bicester, Stoke Wood is a peaceful 35-hectare ancient woodland with a mix of conifer and native broadleaves.  The local volunteer group play a really important part in making this site a haven for wildlife, nature and people.

Tasks include assisting with the maintenance and restoration of the woods, scrub clearance, coppicing and path repairs.  This role supports our aim of protecting, restoring and creating woodland for people and wildlife.
