How do I pay for my listing?

If you’re posting a listing via our simple online process, you will be prompted to provide billing information so we can send your organisation an itemised invoice (you will not be prompted if your listing is free – ie events, voluntary positions). You can make your payment by credit card, cheque or BACS and we can also accept payments via paypal. To make life easier, we also save your billing details (Address etc.) so its quicker the next time you pay us a visit. We will not save any credit card or payment details.

What are codes and credits and how do they work?

Codes and credits have different uses; you may have received a code for promotional purposes meaning you have a free listing (wahoo). Promotional codes may also be a percentage off typical values (i.e 25% off our standard listing price). There will be a prompt to input any promotional codes through our simple online process. Easy.

Codes are also used to make life a little easier for our regular listers. For example, if your organisation would like to list 10 courses or jobs over a 12 month period, you can purchase a one off code. This will allow you to post listings as and when required using your unique code. One code, one bill = 10 listings. You’ll find this much easier than purchasing listings individually as and when they arise.

What should I do if I want my listing published on a specific date/time?

No Problem -There will be a prompt to input exactly what date and time you would like your listing to be published. Otherwise, the default publish day will be the same day you submit. You will receive an automated email to confirm your listing is live.

How long will it take for my listing to be approved?

During office hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00AM – 17:00PM GMT) listings are usually published within two hours. However, this may be longer if you post listings on a weekend or bank holiday.

How can I edit my listing after it has been published?

You can edit any of your listings by clicking on ‘My Dashboard’ and then selecting ‘My listings’. Once you have finished editing your listing and submitted, your post will be sent through for approval (usually approved with normal office working hours – Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 17:00 GMT).

Can my listing be re-published once it has expired?

Of course. Simply re-list your post by clicking on the ‘relist’ button located in the ‘my listings’ section in ‘My Dashboard’. You will also have the opportunity to make any relevant amendments to the listing such as dates and deadlines.

Paid: upto 45 days standard expiry time frame*
Voluntary: upto 365 days standard expiry time frame*
Overseas: 45 days standard expiry time frame*
Courses: upto 12 months*
Events: 30 day standard expiry time frame*

How do I subscribe to your newsletter?

Simply add the email address you would like to receive newsletters to in the ‘Subscribe’ box located on the right hand side of the home screen. We will send you a confirmation email to the email address you provide. Once you have confirmed you will receive our weekly newsletters.

Don’t panic! If you lose either your login details or password simply click the ‘forgot your password?’ button located on the login screen. We will then send you an email with a link that will allow you to reset your password or username.

Why should I upload my CV?

Uploading your CV means you will be visible to potential future employers who have subscribed to our CV database. Employers can subscribe at any point to review potential candidates for certain roles within their organisations, Having your CV uploaded means you are visible when jobs relevant to your skill set become available.

Should I still apply for jobs that are listed if I have uploaded my CV?

Definitely. If you see a job listing that appeals to you and matches your skills and work experience, you should apply following the instructions on individual listings. Some employers may not choose to access our CV database and instead opt for just advertising the post. In these instances you may miss out if you don’t apply.

We take all our users’ personal information very seriously. We have all the necessary safeguards in place to ensure your personal information is in safe hands and to comply with relevant UK legislation.

How do I upload my CV?

Before you upload your CV onto Conservation Jobs, you need to login/register with us. Click on ‘login’ tab and fill in the required fields. Once you have registered with us and confirmed your email address you will be diverted to your dashboard, simply click on ‘My Dashboard’ – You will have the facilities to upload your CV in your there.

How do I apply for a job/position?

Simply browse through our list of job opportunities and see what takes your fancy. When you click on individual listings you will find an in-depth description of the position and how to apply. How you apply is ultimately up to the employer; some organisations may require a CV whereas others may require you to complete an online application form. It is best to read the information and instructions on the listings carefully. Contact Details (such as links to apply, email addresses and phone numbers) are located at the bottom of the listing and also on the right hand side.

Individual course listings will have a ‘Contact Details’ section where there will be all the relevant contact details needed to apply.

We ask all event organisers to put as much information about the event as possible. Like courses, there will be a ‘Contact Details’ section where you will find all the relevant information needed to attend the event.
