Volunteer Ranger Internship
We have new, full time, 8 month Volunteer Ranger Internships to last from June until February.
There are 4 opportunities available to work as part of a small team alongside the Perthshire Ranger and North East Reserves Project Officer.
Volunteer duties will include:
- Practical conservation management – such as controlling invasive and non-native species
- Surveying and monitoring on our reserves
- Public engagement – delivering public events, blogs, social media, and encouraging responsible access
- Working with other volunteers and partner organisations
You will be supported and supervised by Trust staff and we will provide:
- training related to your role; such as Lantra brushcutter, pesticide and Lantra chainsaw tickets, BASP Outdoor Emergency First Aid.
- free accommodation at Loch of the Lowes in a shared bothy.
- an allowance to support your food & travel costs during your internship.
- branded clothing
